Company History
Web Fire Communications has been proudly serving the Wichita Falls community since 1995 and operates within the Wichita Falls area.
Web Fire Communication roots stemmed from Mil-Tel Communications that provides telephone services to the Department of Defense in 19 Navy bases around the country. In 1995, Mil-Tel bought a small Internet Service Provider (ISP) called Wichita Falls Internet and changed the name to Web Fire Communications. Thereafter, the owners created a strong technology company to serve to needs of both commercial and residential clients. As time progressed, the company extended its Internet services to areas around north central Texas and experienced tremendous growth as people started using their product.
In 2000, the managers took the company services to the next level by building their own public telephone network known as CLEC (competitive local exchange carrier) to deliver local and long distance dial tone and high-speed Internet via DSL and T1/PRI.
